PORTALMALUKU.COM -- Perhelatan penghargaan musik bergengsi, Grammy Award 2021 ke-63 telah usai, Minggu 14 Maret 2021 waktu setempat.

Penyanyi Beyonce dan Taylor Swift pecahkan rekor baru diajang Grammy Award tahun ini.

Taylor Swift dan Billie Eilish membawa pulang penghargaan paling bergengsi di Grammy Award.

Sementara Beyonce, jadi artis perempuan dengan penghargaan terbanyak dalam sejarah.

Dalam pemberian penghargaan Grammy Award kali ini, pemenang ditentukan oleh voting dari The Recording Academy yang merupakan ahli di bidangnya.

Bintang pop Taylor Swift memenangi penghargaan album terbaik untuk album teranyar "Folklore".

Sementara "Everything I Wanted" dari Billie Eilish dinobatkan sebagai rekaman terbaik.

Taylor Swift menjadi perempuan pertama yang tiga kali membawa pulang penghargaan album terbaik.

Sedangkan Beyonce, empat kemenangan tahun ini menambah jumlah pialanya menjadi 28 penghargaan.

Dilansir  dari Kantor Berita Antara, raihan tersebut melampaui rekor yang sebelumnya dipegang penyanyi Alison Krauss.

Sementara penyanyi Inggris Dua Lipa memenangi album pop vocal terbaik lewat "Future Nostalgia".

Para penulis lagu "I Can't Breathe" dari penyanyi H.E.R memenangi penghargaan lagu terbaik tahun ini.

Lagu tersebut ditulis sebagai respons dari aksi Black Lives Matter di Amerika Serikat yang terjadi tahun lalu.

Sementara rapper Megan Thee Stallion menjadi artis pendatang baru terbaik, juga membawa pulang penghargaan rap performance atas lagu "Savage" yang juga menampilkan Beyonce.

Dipandu Trevor Noah, acara hibrida yang memadukan rekaman dan siaran langsung berlangsung di Los Angeles, tanpa penonton yang ramai seperti biasa.

Grup K-pop BTS kalah dalam kategori best pop duo or group performance dari Lady Gaga dan Ariana Grande lewat lagu "Rain on Me".
